Your legacy deserves
the right steward.

Our Story
The Ward family — David, Tianna, Victoria and Olivia

We are not private equity. We are the Wards.

Our mission is to acquire and grow essential metro Atlanta businesses that are poised for their next chapter — honoring the legacy you've built while driving the growth that lies ahead.

We're building something we can hand to our daughters one day — and we want to honor the legacy you've already built. When you sell to Bristaine Capital, you're not handing your life's work to a fund. You're handing it to a family.

Who you sell your
business to matters.

We are David and Tianna Ward — a married couple, parents to Victoria (9) and Olivia (4), and proud Atlantans building something bigger than a career. We've spent decades in corporate America developing deep expertise in operations, M&A, AI, and strategy. Now we're putting that experience to work for ourselves — and for the businesses we acquire.

We didn't arrive here by accident. David has led P&L and M&A work at Amazon, Ryder, and HERE/Nokia. Tianna has driven revenue transformation and AI strategy at Microsoft, Medscape, and World Kinect. Together we hold two Chicago Booth MBAs and a track record of building things that last.

But what truly drives us is this: Victoria and Olivia are watching. We want them to see what's possible when you bet on yourself — and we want to build something worth passing on.

"We are not private equity. We will not strip your business, flip it in three years, or replace your team with consultants. We plan to be here — running it, growing it, and honoring what you built."

What we look for.

We evaluate businesses across three pillars.

The Business

  • Metro Atlanta market
  • 5+ years in operation
  • 8 or more employees
  • Existing management layer
  • No single customer above 15% of revenue
  • Essential, non-discretionary services

The Financials

  • $500K–$2M in seller's discretionary earnings
  • Flat or growing revenue trend
  • 60%+ recurring or repeat customer revenue
  • Consistent 3-year financial history
  • Recession-resistant model

The Opportunity

  • AI-acceleratable operations
  • Owner ready for succession
  • B2B or professional services focus
  • Bolt-on or growth potential
  • Example sectors: healthcare services, MSP/tech, specialty insurance, industrial services, A&D

Not every business will meet every criterion. We encourage business owners, brokers, and M&A advisors to reach out if they believe there's a fit. We're flexible, we move quickly, and we always respond.

What guides us.

01

Legacy first

We treat every acquisition as a stewardship, not a transaction. Your employees, customers, and community matter to us — because they will be ours too.

02

Family is the reason

Victoria and Olivia are why we're doing this. We want to model for them what it means to build something with integrity and hand it forward with pride.

03

Radical transparency

We say what we mean, move when we commit, and never waste a seller's time. If we're not the right buyer, we'll tell you — and we'll tell you why.

04

Growth with purpose

We use technology and operational excellence to grow — not to cut. Our goal is a business that's stronger for everyone in it five years from now.

How we work
with sellers.

1

Intro conversation

We start with a simple call — no NDA required, no pressure. We want to understand your business, your goals, and what a successful transition looks like for you and your team. If it's a fit, we move quickly.

2

Letter of intent

If we're aligned on the fundamentals, we'll issue a clear, straightforward LOI outlining price, structure, and terms. We underwrite every deal honestly — you'll know exactly where we stand and why.

3

Due diligence

We conduct thorough but respectful due diligence — financial, operational, and legal. David leads the financial analysis; Tianna evaluates operational systems and growth potential. We keep this process efficient and confidential.

4

Closing & transition

We close, wire funds, and celebrate the next chapter — together. We work closely with sellers through the transition to ensure continuity for employees and customers. Your legacy doesn't end at closing; it continues under our care.

Let's have
a conversation.

Whether you're a business owner, broker, or advisor — we'd love to connect.

We understand these conversations require discretion, and we're fully committed to confidentiality. There's no obligation in reaching out — just an honest conversation between people who take this seriously.
